Phase 1 - Southeast Region Sport, Recreation, and Cultural Infrastructure Needs Assessment Phase 2 - Regional Infrastructure Assessment Framework The Southeast Regional Service Commission "Commission" is looking to engage a consultant to produce a comprehensive Southeast Region Sport, Recreation and Cultural Infrastructure Needs Assessment (Phase 1 of the Request for Proposal "RFP"), and a Regional Infrastructure Assessment Framework (Phase 2 of the RFP). Phase 1 The Needs Assessment will guide the Commission, municipal partners and other stakeholders regarding the provision of sport, recreation and culture infrastructure in Southeast New Brunswick based on national standards and best practices. This will enable the Commission to plan a future that reflects the values and needs of the region. Considering national and international best practices will be beneficial when reviewing current and future needs and opportunities in our region. The Needs Assessment will provide a framework to identify priorities for the management and development of sport, recreational and cultural infrastructure, resources, and investment over the next 10 years. We are also asking the proponent to provide recommendations regarding a Regional Infrastructure Assessment Framework, which will help define regional and sub-regional sport, recreation, and cultural infrastructure and potential cost-sharing by communities moving forward. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
