The Town of Herndon (herein referred to as "Town") is soliciting bids from qualified firms with experienced, licensed operators to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform snow and ice removal services on Town maintained primary, secondary, and subdivision roads throughout the Town of Herndon. This will be in cooperation with the Towns snow and ice control operations crews. Snow Removal Season is defined as November 1st of each year through April 30th of the following year. Potential Bidders shall direct all questions or inquiries in writing no later than October 20, 2023, 12:00 p.m. to Andrea Lourenco to andrea.lourenco@herndon-va.gov. Revisions to the solicitation are made only by addendum issued by the Purchasing Office. The Town requires that all firms doing business in the Town have a license in accordance with the Town's "Business, Professional and Occupational Licensing" (BPOL) Tax Ordinance. A BPOL license is not required to submit a bid for this effort but will be required prior to award of the contract. All Contractors doing business in the Town are required to possess a valid Virginia Contractor's License as applicable.
