This two-year contract shall consist of cleaning all Type I and Type II catch basins within the city right of way. Cleaning will follow a systematic route within identified areas. Catch Basins cleaning will consist of vactoring sediment/debris and/or water from structure and cleaning of frames and grates/Lids. The condition of all Type I and Type II Catch Basins will be assessed after cleaning. This contract will also cover emergency response and pipe jetting as needed based on an hourly rate. Questions must be received by the City no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 16, 2023 to allow a written reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of bids. The City of Covington reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or minor irregularities in the bidding, and determine which bid or bidder meets the criteria set forth in the bid documents.
