The project involves engineering and surveying for replacement of storm sewer headwall and piping and related work upstream and downstream of Hale Street. Replacement of a wall and storm pipe along Pittston Avenue and related services. Investigation of inflow and infiltration into the sanitary sewer and flow related metering. General Borough engineering services include but are not limited to surveying, storm sewers and stormwater management, sanitary sewers, street improvements, curbs, sidewalks, recreational facilities, ADA improvements, building improvements, design and permit review, environmental services, project administration, construction inspection and construction phase services. Work financed by HUD CDBG funds or DCED, CFA, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania funding require compliance with related state and federal funding requirements. Yatesville Borough is pleased to invite your firm to submit a written "Request for Proposal" for this project. Yatesville Borough shall negotiate a contract with the firm that submits the most advantageous proposal, subject to the evaluation of information received from interested firms, for necessary services, for a fee which Yatesville Borough determines to be fair and reasonable. Should Yatesville Borough be unable to negotiate a satisfactory contract with the firm considered to be the most qualified, Yatesville Borough shall then undertake negotiations with the second most qualified firm. Yatesville Borough Municipal Authority 33 Pittston Avenue Yatesville Borough, PA 18640 The successful proposal is expected to be awarded at the November 6, 2023, Borough Meeting.
