The Boys & Girls Club of Story County intends to retain the services of a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) for the construction of a new 8,000 SF addition to include new classroom spaces, cooking lab, game room, commons, multi-purpose space and support spaces. The entire facility will also undergo a renovation, and a number of floodproofing & flood mitigation upgrades. A portion of the project will be funded by an Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Grant which requires the project follow Iowa public bidding laws. As such, the Boys & Girls Club of Story County is initially requesting Qualification Statements from qualified firms to determine which firms will be offered the opportunity to submit their proposed fees for the project. Design work is currently at 50% Contract Documents with anticipated completion shortly before Thanksgiving. Construction is intended to commence in the Spring of 2024, and be completed by May 2025. The preliminary construction budget is currently set at $5,930,000.00. Questions Deadline: October 23, 2:00 PM CST
