Written questions must be submitted via email to ryan.brady@seattle.gov no later than 5 p.m. the Thursday before the Bid Opening Date This project consists of the following elements of work: Replacement of the existing above grade potable water pump station structure with a new structure with an expanded footprint to include architectural, structural, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical (to include medium voltage), and instrumentation/ controls/security work. Work also includes construction stormwater and erosion control, demolition, civil site improvements to include water main installation, and landscaping. This Project is a Covered Project subject to the City of Seattle's Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) and Priority Hire SMC 20.37. With the support ofthe mayor and City Council, the City of Seattle administers programs that support racial and economic equity through contracting. Priority Hire is one of these programs. Priority Hire provides people living in economically distressed communities, women, and people of color access to work on the city's construction projects. It gives contractors access to these skilled workers. This Project has Project Specific Experience Requirements as described in Section 00 11 53 of the Project Manual. ESTIMATE: The Engineer's Estimate for this project is approximately $5,200,000 No Bid will be accepted from any Bidder who does not attend at least one ofthe mandatory pre-bid site inspections.
