The work shall be completed within 150 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $350 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions." The deadline for questions has been established as October 5, 2023 @ 2:00 p.m., to ensure that there is enough time to allow for the A/E to provide responses and possible Addendum issuance if necessary. The Project Classification for This Solicitation is: "b" ($100,000 to $500,000) *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. P-065-130-010, P-065-130-001 The project scope includes the fabrication and installation of both outdoor and indoor exhibits at Point Lookout State Park, including museum-quality exhibits within the Lighthouse building on the first and second floors, under-cover/outdoor-grade exhibits within the Buoy Shed, and conventional waysides placed along existing paths. These exhibits are the capping event in an overall renovation of the existing site, restoration of the Lighthouse and Buoy Shed (and other adjacent structures). This restoration work has included providing power feeds and empty signal conduits with pull-wire designated for exhibits and AV needs. Both track and recessed lighting attached to finished building surfaces is provided, so exhibit lighting provided under this contract is limited to lighting that is integral to shop-built exhibit components as shown in the drawing package.
