PROJECT INFORMATION: Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. The State of Indiana Law and regulations shall govern submittal, opening, and award of bids. Project Identification: City of Tipton Baseball Fencing Project Location: 550 Park Road, Tipton, IN 46072. Owner: City of Tipton. Owner's Representative: Thomas E Dolezal, Mayor. Architect: KJG Architecture, Inc. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project involves fencing around three (3) baseball fields located in Tipton, Indiana. The fencing will include 6' tall fencing around the perimeter with 12' gates. It also includes fencing around three (3) baseball fields, two (2) little league fields and one (1) Babe Ruth field. Fencing to include all gates and necessary hardware and is to be black vinyl chain link KK. Height of fence variation is 6' to 24'. COST RANGE: Anticipated to be under $180,000.00. PROJECT SCHEDULE: Start date is November 6, 2023 with completion date of March 1, 2024. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: General Contract (Fencing). BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING: Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows: Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference. All those who are requiring Bidding Documents must submit the following information by e-mailing kaitlynm@kjgarchitecture.com. This information will be used to make the Plan Holders List and send out addendum information. Submit: Company Name, Company Address, Name of Contact Person, Phone No., including extension and email address. Viewing Procurement and Contracting Documents: Examine after October 2, 2023, at the locations to follow: KJG Architecture, Inc., 527 Sagamore Parkway W., West Lafayette, Indiana. TIME OF COMPLETION: Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Substantial completion of the work shall be attained no later than 3:00 p.m. local time on March 1, 2024. BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS: Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance required for the Work. Proof of Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
