Phase Lb Focuses on the Preservation and Repair of the Clinton African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church at 9 Elm Court, Great Barrington, Ma, Per the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archeology and Historic Preservation. It Includes: Asbestos Abatement and Mold Remediation, Structural Stabilization and Repair Work to Floors, Walls, Roofs as Per the Architect's and Engineer's Drawings. The Work Will Be Funded in Part by a National Parks Service Grant and a Community Preservation Grant From the Town of Great Barrington. Work to Be Completed Under Phase 2 Will Consist of Interior Modifications and Additional Exterior Work, to Convert the Former Church Into a Community Center and Museum Honoring the Life and Legacy of W. E. B. Du Bois
