The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in specifications. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the County. Question Submission Deadline:October 16, 2023, 2:00pm Direct pre-bid questions to the Project Manager, Kevin Wallace, via the Q&A tab in the portal Kevin Wallace Building Trades Coordinator Email: wallacek@saccounty.gov The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and and other incidental work for: Remove and discard existing carpet and replace with new carpet There are 2 areas in the Airport Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) areas that need carpet and base replaced. 1. Ag Inspection Area Approximately 475 SQ YDS 2. Passport Inspection Area Approximately 1312 SQ YDS All measurements shall be field verified. o Remove existing carpet and wall base, (base where applicable) and dispose of. o Existing carpet is 36" X 36"squares o Furnish and install New Carpet: Mannington Mills. Model: Coast 34924 6E (18" X 36") o Furnish and install new 4" black base and transition strips where needed/applicable o This work includes floor prep and all materials needed, adhesive o All work will be on the secure side of the Airport. An escort will be provided o All day Parking will be limited to two work trucks on the secure side
