Surrey Memorial Hospital (Smh) is One of the Regional Hospitals in Fraser Health and Supports One of the Fastest Growing Communities in the Province. The Childrens Health Centre (Chc) at Smh is in the Process of Renewing Its Patient Services Areas to Improve Existing Facility and Operational Efficiency. Phase 1 & Phase 2 Were Completed in 2021. Currently the Chc Clinical Team is Reviewing Opportunity to Continue the Renewal Process Into the Inpatient Units. The Process Will Likely Take Place in Stages in Order to Maintain Operational Capacity to Meet Clinical Demands. The Project Areas Include the Inpatient Rooms and Adjacent Corridors, Play Areas, and Nursing Areas Within the Children's Health Centre. The Main Objective of the Project is to Enhance the Current Facility and to Continue the Design Theme From Previous Phases. The Followings Describe the Anticipated Renovation Scope in Further Details: Enhance Interior Play Areas Including Replacing Storage Millwork Replace Flooring According to Design Pattern Through Inpatient Units Repair and Paint Walls Replace Handrail, Wall Protection, and Blinds Along Corridors Add Decorative Graphic Film Along Corridors Refurbish Millwork at Nurse Stations Replace Light Fixtures in Corridors Replace Ceiling Tiles as Necessary Documents can be obtained from https://fraserhealth.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities
