The Project generally includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: 1. The demolition of existing site features, including a maintenance building and leachate tanks; 2. The installation of approximately 2.7 acres of liner system; 3. The construction of mechanically stabilized earth berm, including soil processing; 4. The installation of haul and access roads; 5. The installation of leachate collection and conveyance infrastructure; 6. The installation of landfill gas collection and conveyance system; 7. The installation of approximately 12.5 acres of a permanent capping system; 8. The installation of a new truck/tire wash; 9. Removal of approximately 14.8 acres of permanent capping system; and 10. The installation of storm water control features All questions must be submitted by October 24, 2023, at 4:00 PM Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid total. No Bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after Bid opening, and the Owner shall award a contract or reject all Bids on or before such sixty (60) day period. It is the Owner's intent to begin construction at the earliest possible date after award of a contract. The Owner reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any Bid at its sole discretion Any questions related to this project should be directed to the Engineer, Mr. Benjamin S.
