The County of Lycoming is requesting sealed bids for interior renovations to the existing Third Floor, Third Street Plaza Building, 33 West Third Street, Williamsport, PA for new County Offices which includes but is not limited to Interior Demolition; Metal stud framing; Cabinetry and solid surface countertops and windowsills; Batt insulation; Standard steel door frames; Wood doors, Door hardware; Glass and glazing; Gypsum board; Suspended ceiling tile and grid; Carpet tile; Fiberglass reinforced panels; Paint; Toilet accessories; Toilet partitions; Plumbing work - toilets, sinks, lavatories, water fountains, mop sinks, water heater, sanitary piping, domestic water piping, floor drains; HVAC work -ductwork, diffusers, return grilles, exhaust fans, fire dampers, thermostats, controls; Electrical work - wiring, receptacles, conduit, data and phone wiring, new LED lighting, emergency lighting, illuminated exit signage, lighting controls. Prime Contractors for the construction of the project will consist of the following: General Construction Plumbing Construction HVAC Construction Electrical Construction Your firm will be required to provide a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check of a sum no less than 10 percent of the Bid Price. A Performance and Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract charge will be required. The successful Bidder shall also furnish to the Owner a Maintenance Bond covering defects of material and workmanship for the calendar year following the Owner's approval and acceptance of the Construction for ten percent (10%) of the contract amount. Bonds must be furnished from a Bonding Company with an A- or better rating. The Owner reserves the right to postpone, accept or reject any or all bids that are not in the best interest of the Owner and to waive any irregularities in the bids, Question Deadline 10/13/2023 at 5:00 PM ET
