The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project includes the complete rehabilitation of the facility including removal of the accumulated sediment and silts, reconfiguration of the SWM facility bottom to promote positive drainage, installation of a low flow channel, reconstruction of the exiting outlet control structure, and desilting and desnagging of the adjacent downstream channel to promote positive flow out of the SWM facility as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within 45 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "The Township of Hazlet" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The Township of Hazlet reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents.
