The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: Installation of approximately 24,700 LF of 36-inch zinc-coated ductile iron pipe (DIP) to replace existing 30-inch, 36-inch, and 42-inch prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) and 30-inch DIP. Only those contractors that are pre-qualified with the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority to construct 36-inch diameter water mains at the time of the first publication of this notice will be allowed to receive plans and specifications and bid this project. Please direct all questions related to the design of this Project to the Q&A Section. The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 1095 consecutive calendar days, and the time allowed for Final Completion and readinessfor final payment is 1125 consecutive calendar daysfrom the date of commencement All questions must be submitted on this site, on or before October 23, 2023, by 11:00am.
