SCOPE OF WORK : Replace an existing refrigrant cooled, hot water heated multi-zone air handling unit with similar. Controls of new unit to be tied into existing controls. Bid Bond is not required. After awarding and accepting the Contract, the Contractor shall submit to the City within 10 days the Performance Bond and Payment Bond. Each bond shall be in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract sum and shall be in the form supplied by the City or such form approved by the City. The bond shall make reference to the Contract and may be drawn against in an appropriate amount as determined by the City in its sole discretion, when any damages to the City result from the Contractors services pursuant to this Contract, or Contractors malfeasance, misfeasance, or breach in the performance hereof. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive minor informality in proposals and to reject proposal with non-minor informalities, based on the sole discretion of the City.
