The Base scope of work consists of constructing a new maintenance facility and all associated site work at a nearby location; installing new mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection in the new facility; retrofitting the existing comfort station; paving and striping; and removing three (3) overhead rollup doors in the existing Maintenance Building and reinstalling in the new Maintenance Building, Kahului Harbor, Maui. [1] Response to all Questions and Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be issued ONLY by formal Addendum to this Solicitation and posted to HIePRO. [2] Bidders shall submit and upload their complete proposal document(s) to HIePRO prior to the posted Offer Due Date and Time. Proposals received after said due date and time shall not be considered. Any additional support documents explicitly designated as Confidential and/or Proprietary shall be uploaded in separate file(s) to HIePRO -- do NOT include any confidential or proprietary content in the proposal file. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE REQUIRED PROPOSAL DOCUMENT(S) TO HIePRO SHALL BE GROUNDS FOR REJECTION OF THE BID. To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General at the time of bidding. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and substitution requests shall be submitted via HIePRO no later than October 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., HST.
