MBE -1.3% WBE -1.0% Engineer's Estimate of Cost: $4,124,000.00 The work covered by the plans and specifications includes: The project consists of 24-inch gravity sewer within the extents detailed in the previous paragraph and as shown on the plans. Sections will be installed by open cut and trenchless methods as detailed in the plans and profiles, construction details and specifications. Trenchless sections may be directionally drilled or jack and bored. Contractor must submit methods of trenchless construction for approval by the Engineer before commencing construction of the sections of sewer. All work under this contract shall be completed within 210 days of Notice to Proceed. Inquiries must be submitted in writing to Consulting Engineer Tim McLaughlin, CT Consultants, Inc., 8150 Sterling Court, Mentor, Ohio 44060, tmclaughlin@ctconsultants.com; phone: 440.530.2352. prior to end of business, Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Pursuant to R.C. 153.01 et. seq., the bid must be accompanied by an original sealed document in the form of a bond for the full amount (100%) of the bid, OR by a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, drawn on a solvent bank located in Lake County and payable to the Treasurer of Lake County, Ohio, as surety that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Should any bid be rejected said surety shall forthwith be returned to the bidder and should any bid be accepted such bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit will be returned to the bidder upon proper execution and securing of the contract.
