Site Directions: The Project is located along the anticipated western extension of 143rd Street, from west of Steiner Road to Ridge Road, within unincorporated Will County and Kendall County Water Utilities, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete), Utility Street Construction and Excavation, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Excavation, Stormwater Improvements, Traffic Control Devices (Signals, Signing, etc.), Paving (Highway, Road or Street) The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidentals necessary for the completion of roadway construction, pavement widening and resurfacing, drainage culverts, watermain, traffic signals; landscaping; and other incidental and miscellaneous items of work in accordance with the Plans, Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions. 143rd Street from Steiner Road to Ridge Road Project Length 7,912 LF (1.5 mi) Pre-Qualification: Yes The start date for all improvements in this project shall be March 4, 2024. Tree removal shall be completed by April 1, 2024. The project shall be substantially completed by November 29, 2024 including all hot-mix asphalt and pavement marking. 10 Working Days have been provided for finishing restoration work, planting, all clean-up work and punch list items after the substantial completion date. Under extenuating circumstances the Engineer may direct that certain items of work, not affecting the safe opening of the roadway to traffic, may be completed within these working days allowed. Temporary lane closures for this work may be allowed at the discretion of the Engineer
