Contract No. 1B – General Construction $1,918,207.00 Contract No. 3B – Electrical $397,500.00 All work of this contract shall be coordinated with other Prime Contractors involved in the project. All work shall additionally be coordinated with all other activities, construction, or others at each site throughout the progress of the work of this project. The General Contractor shall use all means possible and shall be responsible for coordinating the installation of all materials of this Contract with work of all other trades involved with this project. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the Contract Documents and in compliance with all applicable Local, State and Federal Codes. Prior to the Bid Date of this project, the Contractor shall be completely responsible for visiting the project site to become completely familiar with the scope of this project. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Architect, and the respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid. It shall be completely understood that the use of asbestos containing materials in this project is strictly forbidden and all materials are provided in accordance with the Federal Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), and the New York State Asbestos Safety Act (SASA). In addition to those items in the Base Bid, the General Contractor shall further sub-divide his bid proposal as described in the following bid items, alternates, and/or unit prices. The General Contractor shall include in the Base Bid all of the work of this Contract not specifically described in a Bid Item or Alternative. The Owner reserves the right to accept any and/or all of the Bid Items and/or Alternates or any combination thereof and to waive any informalities or defects in the bid proposals either before or after opening.
