The purpose of this ITB is to establish a Contract to repair a segment of the shoulder that has failed along the west side of US101 at MP304.05, OR for the benefit of ODOT. The proposed repair will use rip rap and stone embankment. The structure will be placed along a 120 foot section of slope, starting at the toe (edge of shore line) and then build up to the roadway. In addition, to mitigate for any visual impact from the structure, the rip rap will be covered with a 6 inch layer of topsoil, and then planted/seeded/mulched so that the outside of the repair will be vegetated. Fiber rolls will also be installed to aid in erosion control once the topsoil is in place. The work contemplated under this Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services for, and incidental to, the completion of all construction Work in connection with the project described in the Contract Documents.
