ESTIMATED RANGE: .4 Electrical - $11,000,000 - $12,000,000 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES = (.4) $5,000.00 per day. There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project. CLIENT AGENCY REQUIREMENTS: Access to the facility during the bidding period will be restricted to a tour associated other scheduled events. Security Clearance Check: The Department of Corrections requires that all visitors receive a Security Clearance Check in advance. See Specification Section 016100, Article 1.13, Paragraph A, for the requirements. Submit the required information at least (5) working days in advance of the Pre-Bid Conference to Client Agency Contact. All potential proposers are invited and urged to attend this Pre-Proposal Conference. The Department of General Services Public Works and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. In addition, there will be no points allocated toward SDB/SB participation for this procurement. This is a significant programmatic change from the SDB and SB Participation program contained in prior Projects issued by Public Works. Proposers now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Refer to the Request for Proposals section regarding Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise Participation for further information. The Goals for each Prime Contract is as follows: SDB AND VBE GOALS .4 Electrical Construction ALL BASE BIDS (#1, #2 & #3) SDB = 11% VBE = 3% No proposal shall be considered if it arrives after the Proposal Submission Deadline, regardless of reason for the late arrival. All envelopes containing proposals must be clearly marked "PROPOSAL" and must include the address of the Proposal Submission location, the assigned contract, the proposer's name, address, project name, project number and the Proposal Submission Deadline Date and Time. Mailed proposals include proposals submitted through the United States Postal Service or through an express mail service. If the prospective proposer chooses the USPS as the method of delivery, please note that the USPS does not deliver directly to the Department of General Services, it is delivered to a processing area. Therefore, please allow an additional seven (7) calendar days for delivery. Proposals delivered in person by the proposer or through an authorized representative will be received by the Department of General Services, in the Lobby of the Arsenal Building, 1800 Herr Street, Harrisburg, PA from individuals presenting picture identification and providing evidence of his/her authorization from the proposer to deliver the proposal on behalf of the proposer, no later than the Proposal Submission Deadline.
