The Scope of Work for the Project Includes the Purchase of Up to Nine Hundred (900) Septic Tank Effluent Pump (Step) Systems in Various Quantities Per Order Having a Minimum Capacity of One Thousand (1,000) Gallons. The Effluent Pump Shall Consist of a Multi-stage Impeller Having a 0.5 Horsepower Motor Which Pumps Between 18-20 Gallons Per Minute (Gpm) at 14-feet of Total Dynamic Head (Tdh), 10-12 Gpm at 171-ft of Tdh, and Has a Shut-off Head of 250 Feet. The Step Systems Shall Be Provided as a Single Complete System With Pump, Controls, Nema 4 Electrical Panel, and All Appurtenances and Accessories Where the Tank Can Be Installed via Excavation to Allow a Residential Structure to Connect to the Step System via a 4-inch Diameter Pvc Gravity Sewer Line and a Pressure Discharge Line Having a 1 Inch Diameter. After Being Connected to the Electric Service, the Step System Shall Be Operational. Unit Pricing Shall Be Provided for Quantities of One (1) Step System, Ten (10) Systems, Fifty (50) Systems and/or One Hundred (100) Systems. The County Council of Talbot County, Maryland Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, or to Accept Any Bid, Alternate, or Any Portions Thereof When, in Their Judgment, the Public Will Be Better Served.
