Description of Work: All Work for the Project Shall Be Constructed In Accordance With the Drawings and Specifications Provided by Mead & Hunt and The Proposed Improvements Will Be Awarded and Constructed, if Award is Made, Under One Construction Agreement. Bids Shall Be Submitted for Furnishing, Delivering, And Installing All Plan Materials, Equipment and Services. The Proposed Scope of Work Consists of Construction of a Storm water Pump Station, Storm water Force Main, and Associated Features. Bid Bond: a Bid Bond Will Be Required in the Amount of 5% of the Bid Price. Specific Criteria: Performance And Payment Bonds: in the Event the Contract is Awarded to the Bidder, They Will Thereafter Enter Into a Written Construction Agreement With the Owner and Furnish Payment and Performance Bonds in an Amount Equal to the Contract Price Inquiries Concerning This Proposal Should Be Directed to Tim Carlisle via Facsimile at (321) 868-1220 Ext. 202, or E-mail at T.carlisle@cityofcapecanaveral.org. The Owner reserves the right to accept any or all additive or deductive alternatives at its sole discretion subsequent to award of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities or irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid which is in the best interest of the City, in the sole and absolute discretion of the City in the Sole and Absolute Discretion of the City. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing.
