The Kenton County Airport Board ("KCAB") is soliciting bids for Terminal Garage Fence Replacement at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport ("CVG"). The current fence has deteriorated and there are a few areas that have been cordoned off due to the condition of the concrete. KCAB also requires a fence that does not have finial tips to protect any equipment, i.e., fire hoses, etc., that has to be taken over the fence. Online Q&A: Yes Q&A Deadline: 10/09/2023 11:59 PM (EDT) The successful bidder ("Contractor") must provide labor and materials to replace approximately 706 linear feet of black metal fencing, including four gates, that is between the Terminal Garage and the far left arrival lanes. This new fencing will help control passenger flow between the garage and Terminal. A.5.1.a Remove and haul away existing fencing and repair concrete per specifications in Attachment A. A.5.1.b Furnish and install new 4' high commercial grade fencing per specifications in Attachment B. o Gate/Openings: There will be (1) one 8' wide vehicle gate (two 4' single swing that can be locked with a basic style padlock) that is to be centered at the existing vehicle gate and three pedestrian openings at the crosswalks. The locations will be direct replacements. o Finish must be black. o The fence will run between concrete columns and have two bump outs for two fire hydrants. o The fence is one long run but this layout below is cut into three difference pieces and not true to scale
