142010400200000 LAB CODE: B2316977 TEST METHOD: EPA 600 / R93 / 116 and EPA 600 / M4-82 / 020 The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to provide the environmental remediation services (abatement of asbestos and hazardous material), utility disconnects and complete demolition services for three (3) residential single-family dwellings and five (5) detached residential accessory structures, miscellaneous concrete, fences and other materials, along with complete area clean-up. Addresses are: a) 1671 6th St NW b) 1805 Ellis Blvd NW c) 1831 Ellis Blvd NW The work will consist of removing all ACM and HHW as indicated and all debris associated with these structures including the foundations, footings, other materials such as sidewalks and miscellaneous materials or debris throughout the parcel, leaving the site in a natural state. Please review the Environmental Assessment Reports in the Bid Attachments section for details. The DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR shall ensure that any damage caused to the public sidewalk during the demolition is repaired at no cost to the CITY.
