Bids not submitted on the District s required forms shall be deemed non-responsive and shall not be considered. Additional sheets required to fully respond to requested information are permissible. In compliance with SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. A valid B contractor's license will be required. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. The District has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to execute this contract asset forth in the collective bargaining agreements for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California. Compliance Monitoring: This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor Commissioner. Copies of all collective bargaining agreements relating to the work are on file and available for inspection in the office of the California Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Statistics and Research, 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA, 94102. A valid B contractor's license will be required.
