September 13, 2023 3:00 p.m Last Day to Submit Written Questions for Clarification to the Department This project is to replace the mechanical parts of the clarifier at the wastewater treatment plant - WWTP - Michael Unit packing plant located in Tenessee Colony Replace clarifiers mechanical parts. The clarifiers concrete containment is in reasonable condition; however, the metal components are non-compliant. The old metal components shall be removed and disposed of. The interior concrete clarifier shall be repaired and coated with a protective liner. New components to be installed shall include a new drive assembly, scraper mechanism, skirt, effluent weir, effluent pipe, inlet through, race skimmer, bridge assembly with handrail, scum pipe with lever arm and electrical services. - WWTP - Michael Unit Packing Plant, Tennessee Colony, Texas as shown by the construction plans as prepared by Engineering Company / TDCJ. Contractors are required to submit a HUB Subcontracting Plan as detailed in Exhibit 1. Failure to submit a completed HUB Subcontracting Plan will result in the bid being rejected from further consideration Contractor must provide evidence that demonstrates the contractor is qualified to satisfactorily perform the specified work and, the contractor shall submit written evidence to include a minimum of three (3) projects completed within the last ten (10) years of similar work, size, and complexity to include the owner's name, telephone number, location, type of facility, construction cost and the date of completion with all bid proposals. Contractor must be bondable and insurable at the levels required. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the amount of 5% of greatest amount bid. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required upon award of a contract. The TDCJ reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality or irregularity. It is the TDCJs intent to issue the Notice to Proceed at the Pre-Construction Meeting with the performance period to begin upon issuance.
