This project is to replace and upgrade the Lake Nona Endoscopy Rooms medical booms in rooms 3L402, 3L404, 3L406, 3L601, 3L603, and 3L605 on the Hospital side in Building 2. This includes removal and replacement of existing medical booms and existing cabinets/casework and sinks in the Gastrointestinal (GI) lab suite to enlarge and optimize the workspace in each room. The also includes the addition/installation of Carbon dioxide (CO2) medical gas lines for the new booms and a new hand washing sink. The contractor shall ensure that all aspects of the Endoscopy rooms meet all applicable codes and regulations, including but not to new structural support for new boom equipment, and room renovations that include walls, floors, ceiling, air supply grills, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and provide complete testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) effort on the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system to ensure proper room ventilation requirements are met. The Contractor shall provide all necessary infrastructure to support the new medical gas boom equipment to be installed. : Orlando VA Medical Center, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted in writing (only) by the Prime Contractor (SDVOSB) to the Contract Specialist, Jean Olivier Pierre at Jean.Pierre1@va.gov. The secondary point of contact is Apolinar Vargas at Apolinar.Vargas@va.gov. No telephone RFIs/Questions will be accepted. The cutoff for submission of RFIs for PHASE ONE (if any) is: 10/06/2023 @ 09:00AM (EST). Responses will be provided in a Question & Answer format to all offerors via Standard Form (SF) 30 Amendment to the Solicitation. RFI received after due date will only be answered if in the judgement of the CO impacts the project/solicitation.
