The prices furnished in the proposal shall be firm for a one-year supply from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. The contract may be extended two times for one-year periods if both parties agree during direct negotiations completed by September 1st annually. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bond equal to five (5) percent of the total amount. The bond or certified check will be held as a performance bond for the successful supplier and will be returned upon satisfactory completion of the contract period. All proposals must include a Safety Data Sheet and emergency/after-hours contact information. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive all technicalities.
