Hendry County is seeking bids from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Bidder or Contractor, to provide construction improvements for Phase 1 of Wheeler Road in the Wheeler Estates Community of western Hendry County, FL. The intent of the Contract is to provide for the construction and completion of Phase 1 in every detail of the work including the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete same in accordance with the Procurement Documents. 2.1 The work consists of construction improvements for Wheeler Road in accordance with the plans that were prepared by AIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc. which may include, but are not limited to: - Mobilization - Maintenance of traffic (MOT) incidental to the construction - Surveying (Property line identification and construction staking) - Clearing and grubbing, including removal and disposal of all materials generated and disposed of at a proper disposal site - Excavation - Grading work, including re-grading of slopes and roadside - Reworking of limerock base - Turnout construction - Asphalt paving - Testing - Utility coordination - Grassing by seed & mulch, sod and other erosion control measures as required - Installation of signage and pavement markings - Complete restoration of construction site - Secure necessary paperwork to access private property when needed - Permits - As-built survey The solicitation does not commit Hendry County to award any contracts, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a response to this solicitation, or to contract for any services.
