The Phase 1B Masonry Repair Project encompass the removal of existing brick as noted, abatement of existing waterproofing, repairs to concrete and masonry back up wall, installation of new brick at the existing substructures under McCormack, Wheatley, and parts of Quinn buildings. All questions by prospective bidders must be submitted in writing via email to mboyle@umassp.edu. The work to be done under this contract consists of executing and completing all work required for the University of Massachusetts Building Authority's Phase 1B Masonry Repairs UMBA Project # 22-B2 at UMass Boston. The Phase 1B Masonry Repairs Project includes the removal of existing brick and CMU as noted, abatement of existing dampproofing, repairs to concrete and masonry back up walls, installation of new CMU back up walls, installation of new waterproofing, and installation of new brick at the existing substructures at McCormack, Wheatley and parts of Quinn buildings. Work shall also include removal and reinstallation of utilities to facilitate installation of new construction, site work, and obtaining all necessary licenses, permits, and certificates. Where utilities exist within and adjacent to the building(s) and ancillary parking lots, and are known by the Owner, they have been shown on the site plan(s) appearing in, but not restricted to, the exhibits.
