Before submitting a bid proposal, each offeror shall familiarize itself with the Scope of Work, laws, regulations and other factors affecting contract performance. The Offeror shall be responsible for fully understanding the requirements of the subsequent Contract and otherwise satisfy itself as to the expense and difficulties accompanying the fulfillment of contract requirements. The submission of a proposal will constitute a representation of compliance by the Offeror. There will be no subsequent financial adjustment, other than that provided by the subsequent Contract, for lack of such familiarization. The City of Sierra Vista will accept competitive bids from qualified contractors for PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF THREE (3) COMMERCIAL GENERATOR REPLACEMENTS. The scope of work involves providing all labor, equipment, material, and supplies to remove the existing old generators, provide and install three new commercial generators located at two city locations. Each bid shall be submitted in OpenGov under the Section titled Pricing Proposal, to the specifications and shall be accompanied by a bid bond acceptable to the City of Sierra Vista for a penal sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid made payable to the order of the City of Sierra Vista. Each bidder shall denote his Arizona State Contractor's License Number and Classification as evidence that he is qualified to contract and perform the work as indicated in the specifications and plans. The Chief Procurement Officer may condition award of any successful bid upon payment of any and all required taxes, license fees, or other monies due to the city or another governmental agency. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept, increase, or reduce the quantities of any or all items of any bid proposal, unless the bidder qualifies such bid by specific limitation. All questions related to this IFB shall be submitted in writing through the OpenGov Question/Answer Tab via the City's e-Procurement portal, on or before, Thursday, October 19, 2023 by 5:00 pm. Please include the section title for each question, if applicable, in order to ensure that questions asked are responded to correctly. All questions submitted and answers provided shall be electronically distributed to bidders following this solicitation on the City's e-Procurement Portal.
