Scope of work The Department manages and administers all Board Governed County Service Areas and their Zones, the Big Bear Recreation and Park District, and various other Special District Road Maintenance areas (collectively referred to herein as the District). The District provides various services including road construction and maintenance (paved and dirt), park facilities (to include parking lots and recreation facilities), water and sanitation services, detention basins, television translators with towers at remote locations, etc. The District, from time to time, requires routine and emergency snow removal and storm clean up services. Therefore, the District seeks to supplement its current list of on-call contractors to more effectively meet the District s need for on-call snow removal and storm cleanup services and the various needs throughout the County, especially during widespread storm events. Available Date : 09/25/2023 06:00:00 PM Services to be provided under this Request for Proposals (RFP) are outlined under Section V, Scope of Work. The Contract period will begin on the date executed by the parties and end June 30, 2025. Deadline for Submission of Questions 9:00 A.M., October 10, 2023 Date for Tentative Contract Award December 2023 Proposer must possess and at all times maintain a valid California Contractors License, Class A (General Engineering) OR Class C-12 (Earthwork and Paving) and licenses for any sub-contractor s that Proposer may consider using under the terms of the Contract if awarded The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
