The Goffstown Sewer Commission, Goffstown, New Hampshire is Soliciting Bid Proposals for Construction of the Albert Street Sewer Replacement Project Located in the Town of Goffstown. The Construction Work Involves the Following: the Proposed Work for the Albert Street Sewer Replacement Project Will Consist of Approximately 470 Linear Feet of Replacement of Existing Sewer Along Albert Street. Major Items of Work Include: 470 Lf of Sewer Replacement With New 8-inch Pvc Sewer, 21 Vertical Feet of Manhole Replacement, Bypass Pumping, Reconnection of Existing Sewer Services, Compaction Testing, 12-inch Crushed Gravel Subbase, Machine Trench Patching Applied in Base Course (Trench Width Only) and Top/wearing Course (Trench Width Only) and Testing of New Manholes and Sewer Main. Other Elements of Work Include Erosion/sedimentation Control, Dust Control, and Traffic Control to Be Maintained Throughout the Duration of the Construction Project. Notification Will Take Place After Bids Have Been Reviewed by the Engineer and the Goffstown Sewer Commission and a Recommendation is Made to, and Then Awarded by, the Goffstown Sewer Commission. Submit Bids to: Office of the Sewer Commission Town Office 16 Main Street Goffstown, New Hampshire 03045 a Bid Security in the Amount of 5% of the Bid and Made Payable to the Owner Shall Be Submitted in the Form of a Bid Bond Executed by a Surety Company Authorized to Do Business in New Hampshire or Certified Check Drawn Upon a Bank Within the State of New Hampshire. the Successful Bidder Shall Furnish 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond and Shall Be Required to Execute the Contract Agreement Within Ten (10) Days Following Notification of the Acceptance of His Bid Unless Otherwise Agreed. the Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Accept Any Bid, to Waive Any Informality on Bids Received, or to Omit and/or Alter Any Bid Item.
