Broadview Improvements Est. Completion Date: Aug. 30, 2024 The stormwater system including the existing pond in the Broadview neighborhood need storage improvements. This project will upsize the stormwater system with larger pipes in order to provide public safety, prevent flooding and erosion. In addition, it was determined the sewer lift station is at the end of its life and would benefit from replacement. The sewer portion of this project will install a new lift station 1000 feet to the north, run a new force main and abandon the existing station and stormwater conveyance as shown on the plans. Sewer and Stormwater Installation This project involves re-grading the existing Broadview Pond, constructing new storm drain pipes, and installing ADS subsurface detention chambers with 10,441 cubic feet (CF) of storage capacity. This sub-surface detention facility will outfall into the non-fish bearing ephemeral canyon stream via a new conveyance pipe and an energy dissipator for erosion control. Also includes relocating and redesigning the existing sanitary sewer Broadview Lift Station to the north onto an undeveloped parcel (referred to as the Schnibbe Property). This will increase capacity and availability for future development, improve accessibility, and address problems with pump clogging The order of magnitude project cost is approximately $3.0 Million ($3,000,000). Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered.
