Question Deadline 10/11/2023 at 12:00 PM ET All other inquiries shall be directed to Jennifer Berger, Procurement Agent, jberger@tompsc.com. The Procurement Division for the Town of Mount Pleasant (Town) will receive Bids from qualified and interested Bidders for repair work at the Memorial Waterfront Park Pier, 71 Harry M. Hallman Jr. Blvd, as detailed herein. The scope of work for this project includes concrete crack and spall repairs of the pier, as well as applying touch-up paint to steel framing at the gazebos. The project shall comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. Construction duration for this work is expected to take approximately ninety (90) calendar days to complete from the notice to proceed. Bids shall be submitted electronically and on the Bid Form as provided with the Bid Documents. The Bids must be signed by an official authorized to bind the bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days for acceptance by the Town. Bids must be submitted showing the above bid title as reflected on page one (1) of the solicitation document. The Bid Documents will be available after 12:00 P.M. on Monday, September 25, 2023 on the Town's Procurement Portal. A Bid deposit shall be required from all Bidders, equal to five (5%) percent of the Bid amount. This deposit may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bond. Separate Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the Contract amount will be required from the successful Bidder upon signing of the Contract. All Bidders shall be properly licensed by the State of South Carolina. All other inquiries shall be directed to Jennifer Berger, Procurement Agent, jberger@tompsc.com. This Invitation does not commit the Town to award a Contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a Bid or to procure or contract for the articles of goods or services. The Town reserves the right to waive any or reject any or all Bids received as a result of this Invitation, to cancel in part or in its entirety and to award or refrain from awarding the project to any Bidder, if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
