1. Granite School District is requesting bid proposals from qualified Contractors to perform the following contracting services for a Capital Project. These are ESSER funded projects that require the Contractor's bid submission to include and adhere to the Davis Bacon requirements for federally funded projects. This includes, but is not limited to, the expectation that work is paid at the federal level prevailing wage by contractors involved in the project. 2. Granite School District is requesting bid proposals from qualified Contractors to perform the following contracting services for a Capital Project. A brief overview of the project is as follows: a. Cooling System Upgrade - The school's original cooling was using a direct/indirect evaporative system. The intent of this project is to replace the original system by adding a water-cooled chiller using a chilled water loop to an existing cooling coil in the air handlers. The school's original basis of design included the future addition of a chiller to provide cooling. As a result, several of the existing cooling system components will be recommissioned for use by the new CHW cooling upgrade. b. Water-Cooled Mag-Bearing Chiller - Due to the anticipated long lead time, the chiller will be Owner Furnished - Contractor Installed. The intent will be for the chiller to be immediately ready and available for installation when required. Once the contractor is ready for the delivery of the chiller, a 14-day notice is to be submitted the Owner to request delivery. The anticipated date of chiller availability is March 01, 2024. The contractor will be required to submit a request to Owner 14 days prior to coordinate the delivery of chiller. The chiller will be delivered and set in place using a Rigging Contractor under a separate contract to this project Electrical system services including wiring and other electrical maintenance including HVAC construction and maintenance and installation and mechanical and machine installation and repair services Woodstock Elementary School 6015 South 1300 East Murray, Utah 84121 Question Submission Close Date 10/2/2023 2:00 PM MDT The anticipated date of chiller availability is March 01, 2024 The anticipated start date of construction is November 01, 2023. The date of Substantial Completion is April 31, 2024 Liquidated Damages - Granite School District will assess $250, per calendar day, as liquidated damages for the late completion of the project.
