Reference Number 0000256381 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/10/10 12:00:00 PM CDT Supply and Delivery of Traffic Gravel, Class A (EPP) MTI Lease Site (SE 25-25-24W) Vicinity of Grandview This request for quotes will establish unit prices for the supply and delivery of aggregate materials at various delivery locations. Estimated quantities for each material required at each location are shown in Table 1: Estimated Material Quantities and Distribution on Page 3 of this RFQ. The delivery deadline date for each material at each delivery location is on or before January 31, 2024. Please submit unit bid prices for each material identified in Table 1. For taxation purposes, separate unit bid prices are required for haul and for aggregate production. Unit bid prices shall not include any taxes. The quantities may vary and some material you may not have in stock. If the material is not on hand for use and cannot be produced prior to the delivery deadline, do not enter a unit price. Please enter a unit price only for materials that you are capable of producing. Bidders will be awarded Purchase Orders (PO) for individual materials on the basis of lowest overall cost (including haul and applicable taxes) for each delivery location. This means that the lowest bid price may not be selected in all cases. The PO number must appear on all invoices, which are presented for payment. Unit bid prices are expressed per tonne of material. Where material cannot be weighed, it will be measured by the cubic meter using survey measurement completed by the Department and the unit prices will be converted using the conversion factors shown in Table 1. The PO will be awarded and paid for on the basis of the converted bid price where the material cannot be weighed. Attached hereto: Diagram of Location: Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure Map Completion Date and Liquidated Damages Work shall be completed free of liquidated damages on or before January 31, 2024. Liquidated damages, after this specified time limit, will be charged at the rate of FIVE HUNDRED ($500.00) dollars per calendar day until the work is completed. Non-Performance The normal penalty for non-performance will be removal from the bidders list for two (2) years. Reinstatement after two (2) years will be on approval of the Department.
