Community of Milner Wastewater Treatment Plant Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Prequalification of Contractors for the Wastewater Treatment System Improvement Project Pre-Qualification: Yes The Routt County Environmental Health Department owns and manages the wastewater treatment system for the Community of Milner. The facility is rated to treat 32,500 gallons per day. It is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified contractors to replace the existing wastewater treatment system. The new facility will feature a containerized Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) treatment process. The existing 1980s lagoon treatment system will be emptied of its contents and decommissioned. The following is a partial list of the anticipated services required from the general contractor: o Mobilization o Permits o Excavation o Site work and erosion control o Utility connections o Installation of a cast-in-place concrete tank o Procurement of treatment equipment o Installation of loose treatment process equipment o Piping connections between the container and loose equipment installed in the basins o Installation of line voltage from transformer to containerized system o Electrical connections for equipment installed in the basins o Backup power generation o Removal of the sludge in the existing lagoons o Reclamation of the existing lagoons o Startup services o Warranty support
