Contract Work (Project) consisting of the General Construction for the interior renovations to include a new 6" concrete slab, building insulation, ribbed steel panel liner, shop lighting, power wiring, heating units and other improvements inside the existing 48' X 88' X 16' Post Frame Storage Building per Contract Drawings. The Work which the CON-TRACTOR is required to per-form shall be commenced at the time stipulated by the Township in the Notice to Proceed to the CONTRACTOR and shall be fully finally completed on or before May 31, 2024, unless waived by the Township. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the Jefferson Township Supervisors, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid. The Project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements. A Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds with good and sufficient surety will be required. Questions regarding this Bid shall be submitted in writing to the Township Secretary via email at jefftwp1@verizon.net per guidance outlined in the bidding documents. Verbal requests will not be accepted. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for any reason or no reason, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate Contract amounts.
