Question Deadline 10/12/2023 at 4:30 PM ET Any questions related to the requested work should be directed to Scott Smith, Deputy City Manager Director of Finance and Administration via email at sasmith@somersworthnh.gov. The City of Somersworth is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to supply and install two new 480V 3-Phase 60HP variable frequency drives at the Water Treatment Plant as detailed in this Request for Bid (RFB). Bidders must carefully read each specification outlined below. Replacement Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) at Water Treatment Plant. You are required by the Information for Bidders to execute the Agreement and furnish the required Certificates of Insurance, Performance Bond and Payment Bond within ten (10) business days from the date of this Notice to you. A written change order must be signed by the City Manager and the Contractor for any schedule or scope of work changes to be approved. Any respondent to a bid request should sign off on and return to the Finance Director the original Bid Documentation Package which explains the scope of the bid request. Said signature, in the spaces provided, indicates receipt of, familiarity with and understanding of, and acceptance of the specifications provided, except as otherwise noted by the respondent. The purpose of this bid invitation is to establish a contract with a company to supply and install two (2) replacement 60 HP variable frequency drives at the Water Treatment Facility located at 9 Wells Street in Somersworth which will replace the two (2) existing drives, summarized below. The City of Somersworth reserves the right to select or reject any Bidder that it deems to be in the best interest to accomplish the project specified.
