Poinsett County Arkansas Government is requesting bids for work included in the following bid packages for the construction of a new 2,500 square feet Housing Unit onto the existing Poinsett County Detention Center located at 1500 Justice Drive, Harrisburg, AR 72432: Bid Package No. DESCRIPTION Bid Package No. 1 Site Clearing, Grading and Cast-in-Place Concrete Package Bid Package No. 2 Security Fencing and Gates Package Bid Package No. 3 Masonry Package Bid Package No. 4 Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Fabrications Package Bid Package No. 5 Caulking, Sealing, Dampproofing and Fire Caulking Package Bid Package No. 6 Roofing and Roof Accessories Package Bid Package No. 7 Drywall and Security Ceiling Systems Package Bid Package No. 8 Epoxy Resin Composition Floors and Walls Package Bid Package No. 9 Painting Package Bid Package No. 10 Miscellaneous Items Package Bid Package No. 11 Detention Equipment and Security Electronics Package Bid Package No. 12 Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems Package Bid Package No. 13 Plumbing Systems and HVAC Package Bid Package No. 14 Electrical Systems and Fire Alarm Package All bids must meet or exceed the requirements of the bid documents and must be submitted on the proper bid form as prepared and provided by the Construction Manager. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, negotiate with any bidder and/or accept any bid that is deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner. All bidders must meet the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors (Act 150 of 1965 with all Amendments and Revisions). All bids are required to include a 5% bid security with the bid. Construction is expected to start early December 2023.
