United Independent School District is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals for United ISD Alexander HS, LBJ HS, & United South HS Chiller Replacement Include in the Base Amount Scope of Work Proposal Amount and in the Construction Contract, a Contingency Allowance as noted below, for use upon Owner's instructions, with a stipulated price amount as indicated below: 1. Application 1 - Chiller replacement at John B Alexander High School and Lyndon B. Johnson High School ($200,000.00 Contingency Allowance) 2. Application 2 - Chillers replacement at Lyndon B. Johnson High School & United South High School ($200,000.00 Contingency Allowance) Substantial completion within three hundred (300) calendar days from notice to proceed. Liquidated damages ($1,500/day unless greater amount noted on UISD general conditions and/or contract provisions) will be assessed if the project is not Substantially Complete. Substantial completion requires that the following have taken place (all may not apply): - AHJ inspection are conducted - Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing TCO's received. - Fire TCO received. - Building TCO received - Electrical power permanently restored to all existing electrical circuits on campus. - Potable water permanently restored to all areas on campus. - All system work complete and fully operational - All new HVAC equipment installed and fully operational including controls. - All DDC graphics and remote interface fully operational The Owner reserves the right to reject warranties and to limit selection to products with warranties not in conflict with requirements of the Contract Documents.
