Construction of 7800 SOUTH SANITARY SEWER PIPELINE UPGRADE, and all appurtenant work, in strict accordance with the Contract Documents on file at the office of the Director of Public Utilities. Construct approximately 1,985 feet total, (1,655 feet via trenchless excavation pipe bursting for and 330 feet by open cut) of new 21-inch HDPE sanitary sewer trunk line, 9 manholes, nine lateral connections to existing laterals, removal and disposal of 8 existing sewer manholes, and asphalt pavement restoration including striping, curb, gutter, and sidewalk removal and replacement. The Work to be constructed is located along 7800 South from approximately 5600 West to Copper Rim Drive in West Jordan, UT. Any bidder arriving ten minutes after the above-noted time shall be disqualified from submitting a bid and any bid submitted by them shall be considered non-responsive and will not be evaluated further. Attention is directed to the condition that questions relating to the technical content of the drawings and specifications cannot be responded to orally, but must be submitted to the City in writing, and all responses will be in the form of written Addenda, which will be sent to all bidders. N-4 LOCATION OF THE WORK: The Work to be constructed is located along 7800 South from approximately 5600 West to Copper Rim Drive in West Jordan, UT. N-5 COMPLETION OF WORK: Time is of the essence. The Work must be completed within 120 calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. N-6 BID SECURITY: If the bid is awarded as the winning bid, the bidder will promptly obtain the required bonds and insurance and will prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Contract. N-7 GUARANTEE OF BID PRICE: The Bidder shall guarantee the Total Bid Price for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date of Bid opening. N-8 CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE CLASSIFICATION: The City has determined the Bidder shall possess the following contractor licenses at the time of the bid submittal: Utah General Contractor License E100. If the City requests proof of a Bidder's General Contractor's License, Bidder must provide such to the City within 3 business days from the time of the City's request. N-9 BIDDER'S LICENSING STATEMENT: The Bidder shall list in the bid, his or her contractor's license number and date of expiration of the contractor's license. N-10 FEDERAL NON-DISCRIMINATION PROVISION: If applicable, Bidders on this Work shall be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended. N-14 PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: Questions arising subsequent to the issuance of this BID, that could have a significant impact on the responses to the BID, should be submitted in the BID Question and Answer section Event Number #WJPU23091901 at the Utah Public Procurement Place.
