The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) has selected F&H Construction, Inc. of Lodi, California as the lease-leaseback prime contractor for the renovations of, Robert L. Trigg Education Center. Project title will be "Trigg Center Board Room Renovations and Security Entrance". Project Description: The project will include the renovations of the boardroom and public entry. Scope / Trades include in the project: Demolition, Building Concrete, Concrete Reinforcing, Metal Fabrication, Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, Painting, Doors & Hardware, Glass & Glazing, Interior Architectural Woodwork, Acoustical Ceilings, Wall covering, Floor Finishes Mechanical (HVAC), Plumbing, Fire Suppression, Electrical, Communications, and related building work. Please Note: Project construction - starting April/May 2024 with completion October/November 2024. Due to noise restrictions, demolition, metal stud framing and any other work that will produce similar noise levels will need to take place during afterhours and weekends. All critical material procurement items and associated durations need to be provided with proposals. This will be a factor in the selection of subcontractors. Subcontractors must comply with all Skilled and Trained Workforce Compliance requirements per the Education Code 17407.5 and Public Contract Code 2600-2603 This project requires contractors to be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations and possess an active DIR# throughout the entire project duration.The project requires prevailing wages. F&H Construction is signatory to the Carpenters and Laborers Unions, and all scopes covered by these agreements shall be signatory. There is a Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) good faith effort requirement of 3% Prime contract terms and conditions shall apply to all subcontracts. Pursuant to California Labor Code 6409.6 and California Code of Regulations- 8 CCR 3205, all contractors must possess a written COVID-19 Prevention Program. F&H Construction will require the submission of the plan review and approval as a condition of work on the project site, inclusive of required compliance with applicable portions of the law and all plans and notification procedures.
