Main and Williamsburg Ave Intersection Improvements If accepted by the Owner, the Bidder shall execute the contract and furnish, satisfactory to the Owner, a Performance Bond and Payment Bond for labor and materials in accordance with the General Conditions of the Contract unless so stated elsewhere in the bid documents. the General Conditions; OR a Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount set forth in item 14 of this Bid Form. Should the bidder so elect, said check will be returned to the undersigned upon delivery of a satisfactory bond. By entering into this Contract, the Contractor agrees to abide by the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the American Disabilities Act of 1990, and City Code 21-43. The City of Richmond does not discriminate against faith-based organizations. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed Work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the proposed Contract Documents or discrepancies of any sort between existing conditions and proposed new Work, he must submit a written request for an interpretation to the Department of Procurement Services, 900 E. Broad Street Room 1104, Richmond, Virginia 23219. The person submitting the request shall be responsible for its prompt and actual delivery by October 16, 2023, by 5:00 PM.
