Construction of two 12,000 gallon aviation fuel tank, fuel truck rack loading/unloading skid, concrete containment pad around the new fuel storage tanks, construction of a truck fuel loading and unloading containment pad, construction of a secondary containment basin with discharge pump, construction of a stormwater retention basin, construction of UG containment piping, demolition and construction of asphalt paving, and other work to complete the project. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. First Tier Subcontractor requirements. All first-tier subcontractors with a bid value $125,000 or greater shall provide a payment and performance bond to the prime contractor, at the subcontractors expense in the amount of 100% of the subcontract value. Bid Question Summary Only questions submitted before close of business on 10/12/2023 will be answered. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Contract time is based on 240 calendar days for the project to be completed and ready for final payment. Calendar days include weekends, holidays, other contract identified non-workdays.
