The work shall consist of furnishing and installing all labor, materials, equipment, and fixtures of all electrical work and related systems as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. The scope of work indicated on the Drawings can be generally summarized as follows: Removal and replacement of existing 5kV medium voltage feeders serving (5) 1500HP pump motors. Removal and replacement of select pump motor terminal box enclosures. Removal and replacement of existing instrumentation current transformers in 5kV medium voltage switchgear and motor terminal box enclosures. Removal and replacement of 120 Volt wiring devices along with their associated branch circuits. Removal and replacement of branch circuit panel boards and their associated dry-type transformer. 30-day metering of branch circuit panel boards for determination of existing electrical demand. Field verification of all loads connected to each circuit supplied by branch circuit panel boards. Miscellaneous branch circuit replacement to pump house peripheral equipment. Removal and replacement of existing pump house automation control components. Troubleshooting, verification, and replacement of existing pump house analog and digital control wiring. Troubleshooting, verification, and replacement of existing pump house network cabling. Installation of new cable tray systems. Only the bids of contractors licensed under Louisiana Contractors Licensing Law will be considered for bids exceeding $50,000.00. Should the bid exceed $50,000.00, Contractors desiring to bid shall submit evidence that they hold license of proper classification. Bid Guarantee equivalent to 5% of the base bid plus additive alternates, consisting of a firm commitment, such as a bid bond, certified check, or cashier s check, shall accompany each bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of his bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required and within the time specified. The successful Contractor will be required to execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract as more fully defined in the Bidding Documents.
