Village of Glenmont (OH) - Water Line Replacement Est. Value Notes: Estimated Value is just the Base Bid. In addition, there are 3 additive alternates, as well. The Project includes the following Work: Installation of 6,100 LF of water main (including service laterals, fire hydrants, trench cuts, pavement replacement, traffic control, and related appurtenances as a base bid with three additive alternatives that include 1,000 LF, 900 LF, and 1,000 LF of water main respectively. The additive alternatives may be included in the final construction contract in any combination, to be determined after the bids are opened. Bids may be submitted in person or mailed to the Village of Glenmont at the address below, but must be received by Village staff prior to the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids. A one-envelope system will be used. Envelope must have the following information presented on the front: Name and address of Bidder Bid on Contract - WATER LINE REPLACEMENT Received by: Village of Glenmont PO Box 476 108 Main Street Glenmont, OH 44628 Bids will be publicly read aloud, and an apparent low bidder will be announced for Base Bid, Alternative #1, Alternative #2, and Alternative #3. After the completion of the bid opening, the Owner will determine whether to limit the project scope to the Base Bid or to add any combination of Alternatives. Bid Opening Requirement items will then be checked for compliance as outlined on the Bid Opening Checklist on page BOR-1 of these contract documents.
